Good Books Are Better Together
Reading is more fun when you have friends to share it with. Still Waters Learning Virtual Book Clubs bring small groups of readers together twice each week to enjoy an engaging book from beginning to end. We read together during each 45-minute session, so there is no assigned reading or additional book-club work for families to manage at home. The focus is on developing a love of reading and building community around books. Along the way, I naturally weave in fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and plenty of conversation about the story.
A Virtual Classroom Kids Enjoy
Book clubs meet live in my KoalaGo classroom, where students can see and talk with one another much like they would on a traditional video call. But KoalaGo adds something extra: a private virtual playground that I can customize to fit the book we're reading. Students can explore and play together in a book-themed virtual space that is accessible only to members of the group and their families. It adds a playful, social element to book club and gives readers another way to connect with the story and with one another.
How Book Clubs Work
3–4 readers per club Two 45-minute sessions each week All reading happens together Live online through KoalaGo Each book club has its own recommended age and reading range based on the selected book. Families purchase a copy of the book before the club begins, and a purchase link will be provided with registration information. Because books vary in length, the number of sessions and price will vary from one book club to another.

Bring Your Friends!
Have a few friends who would enjoy reading together? A group of 3–4 compatible readers can request a virtual book club together. It's a fun way for friends to stay connected and share a great story, even when they don't live in the same place.
Book selections, schedules, age or skill recommendations, and registration information may change throughout the year.
